Cervelo R3 and Polar cadence
Anybody mount a Polar cadence sensor on an R3? The sensor doesn't fit well on the squoval downtube.
Thanks,
Brian

Cheap option: Build up a corner of the squoval tube with some rubber (the Polar cadence sensor from my S725X came with some for me) to build up the corner into a gentler curve and cable tie just like you normally would. This worked on my Flyte SRS-3 which also has a bladed down tube. I was able to mount it on the thin edge without much trouble.
Expensive option: Get the Polar Power kit, which comes with rear-mounted speed and cadence sensors. While not the best power meter out there, it seems to be reasonably OK for folks I've talked to.
