Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is it possible to fit a frame pump on Spec '07 roubaix

Or are the only options to mount a mini pump to the water cage bolts or do I stick it in my jersey?
I'm new to carbon frames
thanks

Mounting a pump to a carbon frame isn't as elegant as it is with the old steel frames. I use the water bottle cage mount style, I don't like the looks of it, but it does work. It will need to be a small pump to fit into your jersey, mine feels like it'll fall out.

I saw a bike a while back with a frame pump mounted parallel to the non-drive side seat stay. The top end was wedged in where the stays meet the seat tube, and the bottom end was wedged in at the dropout. Won't work with all frames, but it worked on that one. Seemed kinda like a disaster waiting to happen though.

Carbon frames are for people who use CO2 or a pump small enough to fit in a pocket.

+1 I have a roubaix and my CO2 pump is along side my multitool and spare tube in a tool bag mounted under the seat.

+2 I have a Roubaix as well and rock a CO2/mini pump combo in my saddle bag along with my multi tool and 2 spare CO2 carts. It isn't even a big saddle bag...Specialized Mini Wedgie bag.
