Fork Opinions???
The front of my bicycle seems to be stiffer than this 68 year old rider would like - I ride 150-200 miles a week - my frame is carbon. Too much thud-thud when going over the normal cracks and inverted cracks/bumps I ride over every day. I have an Ozo Pro fork.
Does it make sense to try to change this fork to something that is not quite as stiff - will I notice it? Based on your own first hand experience, what would you recommend? Since I try to ride as fast as I can, I guess that I don't want a noodle.
Impossible request?
Thanks for any help.
Jim

I would've suggest switching to carbon, but you've already got that. Suspension fork? Heh. You may also want to consider running wider tires at a lower pressure.

+1 for the wider tires. Much more comfy. Maybe 25s or 28s. I almost thought my "new" steel fork was more cushy than my former carbon one, but further investigation reveals the headset is just loose. Time to search Sheldon's site to make sure I put the bearings back in the right way.
