What's your favorite online bike store?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

+1

I haven't spoken with the owner but I believe they're out of New York and I live in CT. so I get my stuff in a couple days with only standard shipping. They don't seem to blow their own horn much but I like them alot and would recommend them highly to folks in the New England & Mid-Atlantic states...

My Two Cents !

I have had numerous occasions to return online purchases to my local Performance store. They never question what I'm returning, or why, other than asking if it's defective.

Gotta love www.competitivecyclist.com. Not always the lowest price, but I appreciate the 10% military discount and the great service they give.

I have to agree 100% with the Good Doctor on this one. Competitive Cyclist is my first choice for anything I can't get through the LBS. I only look to discount sites (probikekit and performancebike, mostly) after looking at CC.

They give thoughtful explanations about everything (not just a reprint of what the manufacturer's catalog says), and are willing to answer questions via phone and e-mail. They've always been prompt in shipping merchandise and helping me with post-sales questions as well.

Competitive Cyclist rocks.

+1 for Competitive Cyclist. Andrew answered all the questions I had about a product when I ordered it.
