Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nice looking ride. I believe I saw an ad for it in Road magazine. Though I'm not Italian, I still like the colors.

I love the colors, for me it simply works.

Here's another one, but a little more subdued.

Here's their '07 catalog for those who haven't seen it yet.

And what's up with the lugs? (If my eyes are not tricking me)

Are they too cheap to make seperate molds for each size?

Judging by the reactions, perhaps 'gougous' as in 'eye-gouge-worthy'.

Still, I say hot bike.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Colnago is the Vegas Showgirl of high-end cycling.

I have no idea how it rides, but I'm quite sure that the required tufts of chest hair and large gold medallions would make my jerseys fit weird.

I'm surprised Santa Claus uses those tires for training at the North Pole.

Isn't it illegal to put Shimano stuff on a Colnago?

It leaves me with the impression of the Miami Dolphins.

After staring at that frame for a few minutes, I think the part of the design that totally throws it off for me is the fade-away white. If they'd just done the green and red on the carbon without the white, it woulda been hot. With the white, it looks . . . um. . . . well. . . . garish and UGLY!

Being the altruist that I am, if any of you get this bike for christmas, a birthday, or an anniversary, I will gladly take it off your hands (i'll even pay shipping!) so that you don't have to put up with the hideous colors.

Ain't I a nice guy?

Totally fugly. WTF is the story with that stem? Did they run out of road stems and chuck a mountain bike stem on or something?

Well that about sums it up. It is okay looking, but the green color, and the white saddle and bar tape really detract. Clearly beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people just love Bianchis, but I cannot stand that green color that they seem to have on 90% of their bikes.

It's an integrated bar-stem combo. Like this:

Zabel Schmabel. The BF powers that be have spoken, and we all know it's illegal to put Shimano parts on an Italian bike.

I made some comment about the sacrilege of building my new F4:13 with the Ultegra group I have, and the manager of the shop said "what do you mean? We build up with Ultegra all the time. It's a great group." He also mentioned Milram.
