Another saddle question
I know there's been alot of talk about the specialized toupe team saddle, I know its a good saddle my only question is, is this a good saddle for long tour rides? I'm not into racing mostly long distant rides, is this a good saddle for my kind of riding?
Thx

if your sitbones are wide, it doesn't matter if everyone and their grandmother loves the specialized toupe, it's not going to work for you. i suggest you get your sitbones measured first, and then look into saddles...

OK, here is the FINAL word on all saddle discussions.
Go buy one and try it. It is the ONLY way to see if X saddle is good for Y activity for you.
I have about $500 worth of saddles and JUST found my winner.

this is a very good idea, because most bike shops have employees and owners that ride alot, and there's always parts laying around that they just tried out themselves. this is usually the case with saddles. also, there's always take-off parts from customers bikes laying around too. this is usually the case with stems and wheels...
