First ride in Japan
Ok so I am living in Japan for a semester as a student and I bought a bike on friday with some help from you guys...
http://www.fdassault.com/users/kp/Bike1.JPG that one. So I got it and i road it around ALL DAY in tokyo. The seat needs adujusting cause my ass kinda hurts still after a few days and I am not sure how the bars are EXACTLY suppose to fit but i'll figure it out. It was a great sunny day, perfect temp and I went everywhere. I started off at home which is in Jiyagaoka and road 40 mins to my school. On the way to school i noticed a fellow American looking very lost trying to extract info from a japanese guy. I pass think twice and turn around to help. She is new here..only 2 weeks and she wanted to get to yoyogi park(a big park in tokyo, very nice). So i tell her I am headed that way and off we go. I end up just showing her around tokyo and I didnt mind the company so first we went to Ropongi...the american district a 20 min ride. Then to Shibuya the central square kinda thing of Tokyo maybe 30 min ride. Then to omontesando a huge shopping street which is maybe another 30 mins. THen to yoyogi park which we road around for about an hour. I took her back to roppongi to her house and i went to dinner. mmmm sushi! The only bad part of the day was the ride back to home. Its another 40 mins of some decent hills and I had not road a bike in like 2 years for any extened period of time. My legs were soar, i was tired, and my ass was not liking sitting on the seat anymore. Overall a great day...the next day i got lost in the back streets of tokyo but found some good stuff as well.. fun fun . Thanks for reading! didnt edit for spelling...so...sorry |

Lower the nose of your seat so it's very nearly horizontal. Maybe 1.5* nose up.
Nice job on picking up the lady on your ride too. Sounds like a good time :) |
