Lance is BACK......
to the NYC Marathon, that is.
Quote
Lance Armstrong told the Reuters news service yesterday that he is still undecided about his future, which includes offers to work as an actor or enter politics. But he said one thing's for sure: He's going to run again in the New York City Marathon. "I've decided I'm going back, even though I'm still shaking it off and still limping," Lance said, admitting that he hasn't run since crossing the finish line on Nov. 5. The 35-year-old Texan called the 26.2-mile event "the hardest thing I've ever done." But it was worth the pain for two reasons: It raised his "celebrity capital" and it raised $779,397 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation that benefits cancer survivors.

The man is an animal. However, the nature of cycling vs the nature of running leads me to believe the odds of his success with running are not nearly as good. Running is about injury management and at his age I don't think he's likely to be resilient enough to make huge wins consistently.

Just because you spell it differently, it's still gay-bashing. The word "gay" has been misused so much as a derogatory term that we now think we can spell it a little differently and not offend the group that was belittled by the original spelling?
The really funny thing is that the "up munkyv's youknowwhat" comment at the beginning of the post was yet another homophobic comment, of course implying that any two men who agree with or support each other are gay.
Oh, but wait, you said "youknowwhat," so it's not homophobic after all.

Nope. I was using gay to mean lame back before I even cared about orientation. Now with the PC thing going, it's ghey to be non-offensive.

Therefore, what you said was serious.
One would think that after the Koffee Brown debarkle that people would realise that not everything other people say is meant in the literal sense.
