# Mavis Wheel Question

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How heavy are you?
How much power do you put out?
What is the condition of the roads?
How often do you hit small objects in the road?
What size tires do you plan to run?
What PSI are you filling the tires to?

What I am saying here is that there are too many variables that we don't know so any answer will mearly be a guess.

Do you take winters off, or is that equating to ~7800 miles a year. Yes, many variables, but I'd say you might be able to get 10k-20,000 miles before the rim wears too thin.
