Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Leopard Cycles

Can anyone provide some feedback on the Leopard line of carbon bikes? Their competitive price and, full money back guarantee is very tempting.

people say they are awesome. just a hint, some other manufacturers import the same frames ( blue competition cycles for example) for a lot more money. i saw their website and considered buying one but i have a team and sponsors to support and im happy with what i have now. maybe next time...

Besides talking to the mfg. you might get in touch with BikeTiresDirect.com Think they have sold the bikes your looking at, and have been very helpful with info on products in the past. Good luck. Only purchased a seatpost branded by Lepard and the quality is very good. But I doubt Lepard actually manufactures the stuff that is branded as such.

You might get in touch with any of the shills who had posted on this forum in the past. If you search, you'll find some joyfully stilted conversations about Leopard bikes, complete with pics that also happen to be on the company's website.

Do a search; they have been discussed here before. The frames are really pretty, but performance is not much different from Giant or Specialized. All are made in Taiwan.

Similar to Blue?

Not really. The L1 has a totally different seat stay. The cl1 geometry is nat the same and the M1 seat tube is totally different. Many companys' will use the same factory in Taiwan but produce totally different frames.
