Standover height.......cm?
standover height is 32"......what size bike? 56cm?
|
Yes, give or take a cm or two. Tire size and bottom bracket height can mess up seat tube/standover relationships. I have two 56cm frames. The standover heights are 31" and 32" for each.
(edit) I just found a third 56cm in my living room that measures in at 32.5". |
thanks

Not nearly enough info to give you any good advice. There's just too much variation between manufacturers, too many different top tube lengths for a given frame size, etc.
For instance, my standover is 35" and I ride a 57cm. What bike are you on right now, and how's it working for you? |
Sorry, standover height is not necessarily a valid way to estimate bike size.
Go to some place like here and you can figure out what you should look for. Keep in mind that reach is just as important as seat tube, especially on compact frames that have more seat height adjustability. |
Standover is irrelevent... most bikes use compact or semi-compact geometry that effectively elimate standover from the equation. We can't size you online.
