Anyone had experience with Nashbar brand pedals?
I see that Nashbar has their road pedals on sale for $20(Link) . Has anyone used them? Is there any reason not to buy them? I'm currently using eggbeaters on the road bike. But I bought a pair of dedicated road shoes(yay no more mtn shoes on the road bike!) and I am looking to get a cheap pair of road pedals.

I've got the Ventoux 2 pedals from Nashbar, and they seem to work well....at $20, you don't have much to lose, and the weight seems to be pretty good, too.

hehe, this is too funny. I was using beaters on my roadbike for awhile too. I ended up buying the ventoux 2's like this ^ guy and they're ok. It's a good pedal as far as function and price, but they're heavy at 350grams...
I'm grabbing some keo carbons for christmas and i'll swap them out when the cleats on the nashbar pedals go kaput. the pedals you're looking at are definitely lighter and i'm sure they'll work fine as well. I was very pleased when i made the switch from eggers to the "look" style pedal. More support and (for me) less of my foot shooting off the side of the beaters...
go for it!! at 280grams that's a smoking deal even if you do toss them after the cleats go...

So they aren't the Speedplays I replaced them with but they are pedals, clip in nicely, release when you twist, look like pedals, cost $20, withstood a couple wrecks, and still work. They aren't the lightest but if you only want basic clipless function like I did then it's perfect.

My Nashbar SPD clones fell apart after about 12 years.
They didn't seem to fit my cleats as well as Shimano SPDs (extra slop, disengagement was not as clean), but not too bad and they were only $20.

I have these pedals, and there is a little slop above and beyond the float of the cleat, which is a little bothersome on the upstroke. Other than that, they're lighter than a lot of pedals costing MUCH more, and for $20, why not give em a shot?

I bought a pair of Nashbar Ti pedals along with some Look knockoffs and have been happy with both pair.

like superdex, i find the only real problem to be the extra play in them; other than that they've worked fine for something like 700 miles so far (the black color goes sorta fast, though). also, i don't know how much this extra play is compared to other look style pedals out there.

I have tried Nashbar pedals and they work fine.
Just rebadged Wellgo.
But then again, I treat pedals like disposable items and replace them on a yearly basis.

I have Nashbar Z1's and they're decent. Granted, they're technically a step or two up from what you're looking at, but they work great, are reasonably lightweight considering the price, are cheap to replace, and your feet don't slip out.
