Ebay find of the year - maybe x-mas for me
Check out my auction steal last night! I didnt think that there was any way i would win!
https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...6807&rd=1&rd=1
I have no idea what size they are, but I would only keep one anyways. I will sell one or both, depending on size ( if neither fits me). They are both handmade italian frames:
1) Carrera Aries (Columbus Nero steel)
2) Moser M78 (Deda Al/Carbon)
Pretty pumped. Once I receive them, I will size them and check condition, but they are stated new or as-new.

<90% on over 170000 feedback?
i would have stayed away at any price.
are you sure you're getting both frames?

Yes, as they state that whatever is in the picture is what you get, regardless of what the titles say. Admittedly, it is a bit of a crap shoot, but for 10% of retail, I figured it was worth the venture.

I hope it works out for you but there is no way I would have bid on any of his listings. I hope you at least emailed him before bidding but it doesn't sound like it. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Yep, I usually like to brag here about my Ebay steals AFTER I get the items in hand.
Good one though, hope it works out.

My guess is 54cm for both. Based on the title, which I believe says they are 21 inches. They don't appear to be particularly small or large based on the headtube.

I can't recall seeing a seller with less than 90% positive feedback. In fact less than 96/97% (assuming there is enough of a sample) is where I would draw the line unless the seller had something I couldn't get anywhere else. Over 7000 unsatisified customers is some kind of record. Buyer beware.

they actually have 790193 feedback but only 170,000+ unique. That means people average buying 4 things from him. Very strange. Anyway best of luck, hope fully you get both even though it only says the red one.

Wow, they have 720 negative feedback responses this month alone, 7744 for the year. I hope it works out for you but I would have a hard time giving them any money.

I sure hope you get whats in the picture. The description makes no sense why the heck is there a UPS tracking number listed as part of the description. You have a lot of courage bidding on this!

Thanks for all of the comments above. I did everything I could to make the thing as safe for me as possible:
1) insurance on shipping the item
2) paypal
3) fund paypal through my mastercard (who is very good about backing up)
So I am pretty confident that everything will be ok. I have used them before. Their negative feedback is based mostly upon people who bought DOA electronics - I wouldnt buy anything electronic from them. They explicitly state that they do not test that kind of stuff and buyer beware, as you may get an inert piece of plastic.
My main concern is scratches or dents on the frames that may make them of no use. That is really the only thing that could happen that would leave me no recourse for the transactions. But long story short, I made the bid on the crap shoot that I would get a couple of unique frames that I can hopefully use one of to make into a cool single-speed or something like that. Basically a low risk (relatively @ 10% retail) for 2 italian frames for my perceived chances of getting screwed.
I will post an update when/if the frames arrive. Wish me luck fellow BF folk - here is to living dangerously!

Their descriptions of the bikes they sell are the worst on ebay. You never really know what size frame you might get. Ofteh wondered how they get the high end stuff they have sometime. Pawn shop?

89.8% feedback rating?!?!?! YIKES!!!!
For the record, I will almost never buy from a seller with less than 98% feedback.
If they only have a few feedbacks, then I'll read them and decide, but once you get to about 1,000, you better be above 98% or you have some serious problems.
I have bought hundreds of things on ebay. I have been screwed over twice, and those were both big sellers with marginal (95% ish) feedback.

Don't you think the title would list two bikes if there were two to be sold?
Methinks you just bought one frame my friend.

These guys aren't far from a million sales on ebay. 9 out of 10 is ok most of the time, but not from a store. Good luck with this purchase.
