Good frame & fork sellers online?

Sorry if this has been asked before - tried a search but couldn't find much. I'd like to transplant the components from a road bike that I got a couple years ago onto a lighter frame. Can you guys recommend any good places online that sell just frame & fork? I couldn't find much on BikesDirect. Scott or other frames for people who are all torso would be preferable. The frame' on Nashbar looked nice and the price (about $200) was ideal, but the 54cm is 4 lbs., a bit heavier than what I'm looking for. If ebay is the best route, are there any reputable ebay sellers you could recommend?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Ebay in the road bike catagory is a great place to buy or sell and if you live in a larger metro area Craig's list works well for people too.

What frame material are you looking for, steel, titanium, aluminum, carbon fiber, mixed materials, and what is your budget? Do you have a preference for standard or compact geometry?

My budget is about $300 max, so I guess that would only allow for aluminum or an alu/cf mix (i'm assuming ti and cf are out of my range). I'm all torso, so compact would work best for me, but I'd go for standard if the price was good.

What kind of road bike do you have? Also, what components are on it? You'll save a couple of pounds max going from steel to aluminum. IMO, it isn't worth it unless you race. Save your money for a nice set of wheels. Good luck.

The Flyte SRS-3 and SRS-2 have been available on ebay sporadically, and have compact geometry and longish top tubes. I had one until I went for a frame with a shorter TT (I'm not all torso). Info is at www.flyte1.com, and IIRC they sell factory direct on ebay as well.

Thanks for the info and link!

I got my wife a Fetish new off ebay. Don't buy them direct from the site, wait until they put a ton on ebay for half price. I think the SAC went for $70 for the frame, compared to $300 retail. And the Inzinio is on ebay right now for $130, but retails at $500. Frame only.
