Cycling Gear

looking for new gear, just wanted some opinions on a company called Voler I believe that is how you spell it. I came across there web site and it looked like they have some really cool gear. Quality not sure though, hope someone has bought from them in the past.

LT1,
Welcome to BF.

I have not ordered from Voler but have seen their ads in two or three bicycling publications. Since they spent the bucks for an ad in a good magazine I suppose their stuff is good.
I noticed that many of their items have team logos. You may also want to look at the following websites for team AND non-team items.

To buy anything from Performance, click the "shop" link at the top of the page.

Good riding.

I know a lot of riders that like Voler. I've never tried their stuff, but my wife has a couple of jerseys. Some other friends like their shorts and bibs too.

We are looking at having them make a jersey for a rally next summer.

I've never tried them. Whenever you buy something sight unseen, you're taking a risk unless you know exactly what it is. If you would be upset by a product that didn't meet expectations (as opposed to considering it an educational expense), I'd recommend buying something you've been able to check out in person.

Very solid clothing. Very high quality. It lasts a long time. I still have shorts that are a long way from wearing through on the plumber's crack (which is where shorts usually go bad first.)

Their thermal jacket is awesome.

Also, I think it's pronounced: vo-`lay.

Voler has different "levels" of quality. Our club/team went with Voler. (I was the only who pushed for Sugoi because I read in the Race forum that their RS Bibs are the best) I did try on samples of the Voler and it seemed decent.
Anyway the only reason to go with Voler is because of a team/group/club custom design purchase. If you are buying only for yourself, you have lots of options. If price is a factor you might as well get Hammer Nutrition gear/kit.
