Speedfx Carbon Clinchers?
 

I ran across these on ebay tonight and my first assumption is that they would be a piece after a couple of rides. I then remembered seeing them at a local shop a couple of weeks ago for like 799.00 and actually considered them! Does anyone have ANY experience with these wheels? I was thinking that I might get them and strip the rims of decals and clearcoat.

You do realize it's not actually a carbon clincher. It's an aluminium wheel with a fairing over it. I can't tell about this one but I've seen 2 where the carbon isn't structural and it's so thin that it flexes like thin plastic when you touch it.
