Chew lots of gum....
No wait that's for me quitting smoking.
My new bike (pedal force) does not arrive until march. Take this time to focus on your core strength. Work out your abs, back, shoulders and build core strength that will allow you to ride longer and harder when the new bike arrives. With every crunch you do just say BIANCHI at the top of your lungs.

I'm coping but showing signs of obsession....
-Changed wallpaper on my desktop to the 928
-Changed home page on IE to: https://www.bianchiusa.com/06_928_veloce.html
-Managed to get through the day by buying new pedals (Look Keo Classic) and new shoes (SIDI Zeta) and new computer (Astrale)
OMG I'm getting the shakes

I drink enough beer so that I'm:
A) fully 'carb loaded' for when the bike arrives; and
B) passed out until it gets here
Enjoy the new ride!

Welcome to the Celeste army. Compared to others wait times Friday is pretty short but that doesn't make it easier. Can't wait to see the picture that was one of the frames I was choosing between.

Oh yeah, I now know the meaning of obsession as well. Just did the same thing waiting for my de rosa...wallpaper and homepage. Also new pedals, shoes, and wheels...no new computer, though. Couldn't sleep very well, either. Carried a 8 1/2 x 11 photo with me in my truck till it got here...that helped a lot
Hang in there.
Just...........................................two.................................................. ......more.......................................................................................... .................................................................................................... ..days.

I have a teammate who just got a 928 SL recently and built it up with a Force group.

How ironic. I just bought a Bianchi 928 lugged. I too am getting anxious for it to arrive.

I hate waiting.
Friday will be here before you know it.
My new bike is all over the place right now. The Ridley Excalibur frame is in Belgium getting a custom team paint job and won't arrive until the end of February. The SRAM Force build kit should arrive at my LBS in a couple days and my Williams System 19 wheels should be here today or tomorrow.
New bike, new bike, new bike.

I located an semi-LBS 45min from home (vs. a couple much closer) who had the bike I wanted in stock. Shop made some modifications by transfering some of the better components to it from my old bike. Had the bike ready same day. Rode it the next.
Then the crank (from previous bike) broke and a replacement will take 1 week.
That is hard, having a new bike that one can not ride - waiting, waiting....

The first thought/image that popped in my head this morning was a blurry close-up of the bars wrapped in white tape!
Its most defitnely because I was over at the bike shop last night and asked them to re-route the brakes during assembly so that my right lever brakes the front tire (standard in Asia and Europe plus all motorcyles) Because its Campy equipped they need to remove the bar tap to do it. Since the old one will most likey be unuseable I asked for white cork :-)
Great idea....I'm gonna sneak over to the color Laser Printer right now!
2 more days....maybe I'll go buy a new wedge pack and a cleaning kit (spread over the next 2 days) to keep me from losing my marbles!
