Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I thought yall might get a chuckle out of this:

https://cgi.ebay.com/bontrager-race-l...QQcmdZViewItem

From the listing:

"A NEW PAIR OF WHEELS THE BEST QUALITY BLADED SPOKES FLANGLESS HUBS BONTRAGER WHEELS ARE USED BY MANY PROFESSIONAL TEAMS AND WHERE USED BY LAST ARMSTRONG TO WIN A RECORD NUMBER OF TUR DE FRANCES

A VERY NICE SET OF WHEEL FOR THE SEASON"

Wow...

Lance's brother, his real name is George Armstrong and is a horrible cyclist. Lance is known as First Armstrong to his brother after his success in the "TUR DE FRANCES."

And they're listed as being appropriate for folding bikes.

FEAR THE SCAM!!! Friend who bid on a "Titlerist" driver on E-Bay thinking it was just a mis-spelling. Guess what? The listed seller's account had been "Shanghaied" and when the driver showed up, it was too late E-Bay left him high & dry. If it looks funky, it probably IS FUNKY!

1. He's from the U.K.

2. Maybe he's dyslexic

3. He has 100% feedback, and mostly cycling items sold

Actually, mostly cycling manufacturing stickers bought. I'd be wary.

He bought 5 sets of decals, yet I don't see any bikes with these decals in his for sale items.. I think you might be overreacting....

What's to get a chuckle out of? What - are you the eBay bike police? Check out the guys feedback. Not just his purchases of bike stickers. He has sold lots of bike parts. And the pics are his pics not manufacturer pics, which is generally a clue as to the validity of any eBay auction.

He recently sold 180057128272 parts and 180057125997 parts 180052628503 parts
180058508384 parts 180052617504 180059333942 parts 180059367885 and on and on........

And he has 5 other bike part auctions going right now.

How about this for a more literal translation to cut the guy some slack: A NEW PAIR OF WHEELS THE BEST QUALITY BLADED SPOKES FLANGLESS HUBS BONTRAGER WHEELS ARE USED BY MANY PROFESSIONAL TEAMS AND Were Last USED BY ARMSTRONG TO WIN A RECORD NUMBER OF Tour DE FRANCES

What's the big deal?

There is no scam here, except in your little minds. You should do more research before disin' an apparently good ebayer with 100% positive feedback. Some of you are very small people trying to act like big people on the Internet. Get a life. Ride more. Spin. Smile. Enjoy the open road. Have Fun. Chill. Peace Out.

Apparently the British schools are doing the same fine job as ours. As a scambay listing goes about par for the course.

Illegal cloning of Lance Armstrong has finally come to an end. An angry crowd killed the Last Armstrong clone after having won 10 TUR DE FRANCE bicycle races in a row. New technology allowing immediate DNA testing reveled this Illegally cloned person was an exact copy of the famous Lance Armstrong that won 7 Tour de France races. A crowd of people stormed the post race testing area and grabbed the Last Armstrong clone and impaled him on a bicycle fork. Legal cloning of persons such as Albert Einstein will continue in the future.
