Cateye Astrale 8 Question About Wheel Sizing...
 

Hey everyone, just got a Cateye Astrale 8 in the mail today, but alas it came with no instructions.

I've pretty much figured out how to get it mounted, and how to set the time. However, I'm unsure of what size I should set for my wheels.

I've found where to change the setting (in the odometer section), but it's currently set at 2096. My wheels/tires are 700x28c. Is that the correct setting, or should I go with a different size setting??

2096 is the setting for 700x23; you want 2136 for 700x28.

You are welcome, glad to help! BTW, if you want to set the odometer don't try. This model does not provide for that. I was able to set my Mity 8 to reflect the year to date miles I had ridden, but zero is the only option for the Astrale 8.

Those are the instructions for the Astrale 8....if it makes ya feel any better, the instructions that actually come with the computer kinda suck. The online ones are much better.

Cool. I'll print those ones up so that I can have a hard copy when I need it.
