If a Cervelo is the Porsche of bikes whats the Lambo?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I would consider a Guerciotti a Lamborghini.

Do Guerciotti riders need to keep their jerseys unzipped to show off their gold chains?

Only on the East coast, Midwestern sensibilities, cures a lot of those faux pas.

Car analogies are always popping up in other threads, and they are a personal irritation of mine. I would explain why, but I should probably just put up a new thread detailing their manifold lamenesses. Stay tuned...

I think beer analogies are OK, however.

Wouldn't this depend on whether you're talking about pre- or post-Audi takeover?

Who said Cervelo was the Porsche of bikes?

I'd say more like VW or Apple... with enough marketing, enough people will like it enough that whether or not it's actually a good product is irrelevant
