For all you titanium freaks...
Just discovered this site that does custom anodizing on titanium bike frames. Never fades or bleeds, and just about any color or design possible.
https://www.titaniumarts.com/content/...anodizing.html

Really opens up the possibities for titanium frames to be unique. Not too cheap though...

Hey, not saying I like this particular artist either.
I never knew titanium could be anodized after market like this. Would be kinda neat to have decals replaced with ones that last as long as the frame though.

austinspinner,
Thanks for posting the link. After 12 years I am thinking of adding some more colour to my Merlin as part of the DA8 upgrade and the sticker replacement especially the cheezy headtube. sticker. The purple bottle cages and skewers need help.
Theme may involve Rasta colours as I was born in Jamaica. Must check with Merlin to see if the anodizing will void the lifetime warranty as I am the registered original owner.

At least this allows a little variety in the otherwise dull color scheme of Ti frames.

True...although for me a lot of the appeal of Ti is that uniform industrial finish. I tend to like matte, non-glossy finishes on most items (furniture, musical instruments, the walls of my apartment, etc) and to my eyes a neutral expanse of bead-blasted titanium is one of the most beautiful sights in cycling. Now if only those silly manufacturers would quit ruining that with their darn logos and decals!
