Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

vittoria rubino pro slick pricing

hi my friend just got new wheels but already has tires. so he said that he'll give the vittorias that came with the new wheels for a good price. they are rubina pro slicks, and my question is: What is a reasonable price for these tires (brand new).

thank you

Anything less then $20 would be a decent deal.

$0 in my book, because the pair I bought for $30 each is seperating from the sections after only 500 miles.

I got some from performance a while back, $18ea. I like them a lot. Compared to some Bontrager tires, some Michelin Pro Race, and some Continental 4000's, I like these Vittorias much much better. You can air them to higher PSI than the others I have, but they feel waaaayyyy softer/ smoother on the road.

I got 6 for just over $100 on probikekit a few months ago. They are an excellent all-around tire. Moderate weight and good handling, flat resistance, and wear.

Mine, too. I tried a set after my Pro Race 2's wore out, and they were noticeably inferior in ride quality. I put them on my kid's bike and bought another pair of Pro Race 2's.
