Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So, I'll be in Wichita late this week and, barring snow, I may try to get a ride in on Thursday afternoon. If I were to do that, where might I go to get some miles in? I've driven through Wichita before but have never spent any time there at all. I'll be staying in the northeast part of town if that's worth anything, at about Webb and East Kellogg.

It looks like it's going to be cold but dry up there this week, and that would at least be better than cold and wet.
