What is Floyd riding?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

whoa talk about post surgery weight gain...that is the worst part about surgery, getting fatter and weaker...hopefully after the staged hearing he'll be motivated to take one more stab at le tour in 2009 (if not 2008).

Lance and Jan look like bike racers. Even Tyler. But Floyd? I look more imposing than Floyd on a bike. Which should underscore the 'looks are deceiving' concept more than anything. Floyd could beat me on a tricycle after a fifth of Jack (the Jack might actually get him DQ'd by Dick Pound however) as could half the weenies on this Forum.

+1. I've always felt that way - he looks like that geeky guy from down the hall in Accounting, or that good neighbor who lets you borrow the snowblower or something.

Ahh, I see. I thought you were referring to his weight. I agree, he doesn't have that "euro" look on him.

'Pergoretti's are handmade' by Dario. - that should be enough.

Next you'll be comparing a Bikes Direct Aston Martin with the real thing, even arguing that the door tolerances are way more precise executed from Taiwan.

For the time being stop defending that Cervelo purchase. Swap it pronto for a Moto Le Champ or whatever

It's the most over-played, stupid joke on the forum. I guess R600DuraAce made a reference to "dialing up to 400 watts" a long time ago, people thought it was funny, and it was...until it was beaten to death from overuse.

You know that Smith's song "That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore"? Yeah, just like that.

I'm not sure where that came from.

I was making a silly joke/pun. You said your Marcelo rides "like a dream" which reminded me of Colnago's Dream frame. *shrug*

The Responsorium is Pegoretti's new frame made out of Columbus' XCr stainless steel tubeset. I only mentioned it since the topic is on Pegoretti frames.

Depends what time of year you see them. Look closely and you can see a 12 inch turkey sub stuffed in his kit.

Heh, his legs are fairly ripped but he's obviously got something extra around the midsection. Looks funny.

And Serotta, that looks to be some kind of rodent she has sticking out of her jacket.

People always say this about cycling guts, but the fact is even the skinniest climber with the most miniscule BMI can puff out his gut like that. It's called breathing.

Ullrich is simply breathing through the gut as he is trained to do as a cyclist.

This is a fact. Looks normal to me.
