Shoe Shims
 

Does anyone know where to get them? My left leg is shorter than the right and I wanna get some shims in my left shoe. I've wearing Sidi's if it matters, and I don't have a wide foot.

do a Froogle search on Lemond Lewedge and you will find several online stores that carry them. The are tapered from nearly nothing to just over 1mm. You can stack them alternating the taper if all you are correcting for is a difference in leg length.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I use these wedges on my left foot only, don't seem to have any problems since installation. It solved a problem I had with pronating of the knee.

I use these on my right leg also to correct a pronating knee. The right leg is longer than the left so we shimmed the left with opposing shims to create an even wedge on both sides of the foot. So far so good. Took 2 hrs to get everything to "fit" so i think it should be good to go.

The LeMond wedges work OK if you're trying to tilt your cleats, but if you just want to shim it out, wouldn't steel washers work just as well?

Thanks for the tip on the LeWedge, but I'm not seeing a shim for Look Keo pedals, only SPD and Speedplay.

My LBS carries them, but they're not out on the shelf, you have to ask for them.

I prefer these to the Lemond wedges, a solution under the footbed seems to make more sense to me (cleats gets replaced/moved and every time you replace you'd have to readjust the wedges). They have worked well for me. Also nice since you can swap them between shoes very easily.
