Beware of the black ice...LOL

First ride in nearly a month due to moving and 2 feet of recent snows. Hey look it's 36° and not supposed to rain today...I am going to ride in to work.

"Ride safe." says my wife....like a dagger in my back.

My new neighborhood is nearly always colder than the temp on the news so right around freezing and the sun is just coming up...all the roads are wet with melting snow...I enter the second corner in my commute and feel the wheels going out. 15 feet of slide later I came to a very moist stop. Grr.

Please go back to your normal posting now.

And sadly as a clydesdale it probably didn't look too far from that. LOL Well I had navy blue pants and a bright yellow jacket on.

No kidding, Im ready to go out and I stepped outside, it's full of black ice!

Don't worry, I'm right with you on the Public Service Announcement thing. The thing that gets me is anytime I don't make a joke about my SO saying "be careful", sure enough, I'm out on the ground somewhere (this usually happens with the MTB) just cursing fate...

So, yes, I share your pain. Maybe not today, but I'm sure I'll be hearing those dreaded words soon enough...
