A nice story about PBK...
Well, I got some good news in the middle of a depressing, snowstorm weekend here. After snow-blowing the appetizer 4" of snow out the driveway (12-16 inches possible here Sunday!) I went to the mailbox to find my order from PBK arrived.
My Francaise Des Jeux team Nalini jacket is in the house now, and it's really nice.
But here's the shout out to PBK....
I ordered a Euro 7 thinking 'go large'...they said they had one in stock according to the web site.
A day later I get an e-mail that says they were mistaken...no 7, just a six.
I wrote back that I wasn't sure about sizing and that I was a 44 chest.
She wrote back and said she had another PBK associate who is a 44 chest try it on and it fit him fine.
I said fine, sent the 6 then.
She said she was so sorry for the inconvience. I said no problem.
When I opened up the package today they had thrown in a set of tires, a pair of socks, and my favorite...a matching Francaise Des Jeux Nalini winter hat!
Sweet.

Nice, I wish they would've made a mistake on my order!

I wonder who's socks you got by accident?
A similar thing happened here. I ordered a ProRace seatpost and a set of Vittoria Rubino Pro tires in white. I had to wait for their stock of white tires to come in. So, I placed my order when their site said they had a few.
When I got my package, they substituted the ZRubinos for 290tpi EVO Corsa CX's, and hoped it wasn't a problem.
I haven't slammed them for it.

I really like PBK, although they have yet to throw any freebies my way. The prices alone makes it worthwhile. I mean, no tax, no shipping fee.. What else could you ask for.

+1 for customer service at PBK. I ordered some bar tape from them, and I totally screwed up my shipping address. I sent them an e-mail, said I screwed up and it was all my fault, and they said "No problem, we'll send you another one." I did not expect that.

That's it. I need to complain about an order. I want some of the free stuff too.
