New wheels for me. Going over the build budget for some Ligero Wheels. The best part was convincing the fiance that since I'm getting so much back, I can get new wheels and still put plenty into the wedding fund...hehe...sucker!

Already got my refund.
Upgraded to 9-speed from Sora 8-speed. 105 shifters, Ultegra cassette.
Trying really hard not to buy a fixie until I start my summer job.

My goal every year is to break even or owe a bit. IRS says we make too much money.

I'll be paying my credit card company back for some of the wedding we had last August
At this rate, I should be able to afford a fixie by 2060, which is about the time I expect to die.

I paid off the credit card balance from buying my first road bike. That counts as "new bike", right?

I've already dropped over $5250 on bike related stuff this year
(new Orca frameset which still hasn't arrived
, a new Tete with full record from which I intended to populate the Orca frameset)

'Tax refund?'
What the hell is that? I haven't seen one of those since 1992. But thanks for asking.

I could get a pretty nice bike with mine but I am getting nothing. Refund is going to pay a bunch of bills...and heck I got a bunch of stuff recently anyway...no need at this time.
Ok I take it back...thinking about it the refund is going to wind up paying for a Record UT crankset and FD for the Merckx, and a BB for the Bottecchia frame I got on Friday.

Mine'll go towards a comfy retirement; hopefully one in a cycling-friendly, warm-weather city where I can own a house with a garage big enough to store all the bikes I'll be buying then.
But I might take a bit off the top & buy a new saddle this year.

I used some of it to buy my new '07 Chorus cranks, but otherwise it went to "practical" stuff.

Weenie alert: if you get a tax refund you need a new accountant. Contact me, I'll hook you up with mine.
