Anyone try out the Lew Racing wheels? They weigh 970g for the pair!

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

http://www.lewracing.com/wheels.html

The tubulars are 880 grams and the clinchers 970 grams. Both are the weight of the PAIR (front + back).

Are they durable? Fast? Smooth?

Wow $5,500 for the wheelset.... I don't think there'll be a lot of experienced feedback on these...

i have 3 sets of Lews and 2 sets of LWs and they make by bike float, actually float, over the pavement (for that much dough, they better... )

i wonder if they're really worth half the scratch...

If you are at all serious, what could you possibly use 3 sets of Lew's for?

I'm guessing you're being sarcastic.

Has anyone here even test ridden them?
