Hed Rims

Do any of you know if it is possible to buy a Hed Rim from anyone so that I can build up my Powertap SL on it for racing this year? I know you can get Zipp rims, but I'd like to get Hed instead. Thanks ahead of time.

Hed might sell you one directly, or string your hub on for you. I know they have on occasion sold wheels with hubs people brought in. Call them.

I talked to HED. It's $635 for a new Jet 50 rim laced with my PT. So basically, just under the cost of a new rear from them.

I a new Jet 50 is $695 for rear and $595 for the front. It's an extra $999 to have them supply the PowerTap SL hub. So since I've already got the hub, it's $635 to lace up my hub on the new rim and spokes.

NHubie, the mailing address is Shoreview, but actually I think they're in White Bear Lake. Hollywood Cycles sells the Hed TT frame. The owner Jay Henderson, ride that frame for our TT's around here.
