anyone order from 11 speed to USA?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've ordered to Canada. You'll get hit hard by tax- on a pair of $150 US wheels, I got $50 CAN (around $45 US) in taxes!

Wondering the same thing....those deals on the Fulcrums/Eurus/Shamal are great
Too good in fact that I thought it was the price for just one wheel!

I may have to have them ship to my friend there and have him send it to me as 'used wheels' if the tax/duty is that bad...

Anyone in the US?

I did and it took a month to get and cost 10% for import tax still way cheaper than I could find anywhere else. I would do it again

If you send it to your friend in Italy or anywhere in Europe, they will have to pay the VAT, which is much more than an import duty. The VAT is 15-20%!

Refer to my Stay Away posts in the links on 11speed. Just my experience. Plenty of people had no problem, way too many have.

I bought my Fulcrum 1's from 11speed, along with some '07 chorus brakes and a record chain. Got hit with $100 in customs fees, but still saved money over buying here. Shipping time was 5 days.

Yep, thats what I am ordering. I guess I better stick with my connection deal, just have to wait 2 weeks but its worth the savings of a few hundred.
How do you like your Zeros? what were you riding before the Fulcrums?

i'm having a new bike built which won't be ready until wednesday if my cranks arrive tomorrow.

i'll give a full report on the wheels this week.......i'm more excited about riding them than the frame.

i've got bontrager race lites on my aluminum leader. i don't have a problem with them but it is my first bike and i only have 600 miles on it and them.......i think i'm starting to flex them, though. i weigh about 190 and have been hitting the hills lately.
