I took this on the Tour du Port here in B'more last fall, this was the rest stop at North Point State Park. The road went to the parking lot, to a trail, and right down onto the pier going out into the Chesapeake Bay. It was a nice morning, and I thought this was particularly scenic

That is awsome, I am assuming that the appearance that the bridge is listing is an optical illusion.

^ haha, that's creative.
Took this yesterday halfway through a climb. It's much greener in the spring.

oban - the closer pad is 39B, which was last used a couple years ago when the shuttle did the last Hubble repair. Here is a picture of that:
Here is a photo of both pads in use - note that the lightning towers around 39B were still being built.:
Getting to see these things on my ride to the beach is awesome.

Might seem like a silly question, but how did you not get eaten? I imagine you may have zoomed to take the second picture, but you're still pretty close in the first. I'd have been rather nervous.

I loovvvvve this thread, especially SteakTaco's work.
Here are some I've taken on rides around here. They're linked from Facebook, but I think they should be publicly visible?
Up Crawford Gulch Rd. west of Golden, CO.
Looking back at Denver, where I started, 3,000 feet below.
Descending from Vail Pass toward Frisco.
Lookout Mtn. Rd.
Looking west over Highway 6.
