I took all of these while out on rides this summer. The race ones were from a criterium race that I stumbled upon while going to visit a friend

Autumn Log Jam, Plus I Need A Favour
First, the requested pic:
Now, the favour, which is kind of related to the thread.
I write a blog mostly about cycling. My readers have entered pictures of Autumn trees (most of which were taken on bike rides) in a contest I'm running. I am collecting votes for the winner on my blog, but I don't have enough readers to make the voting very interesting.
So that's the favour... could you please visit my contest and vote for you favourite tree pic? I would really appreciate it.

Cold and snow did not stop me from winter ride on my summer bike.
My wife was not happy and road signs warned me also:

But I did anyway despite the danger of icy trail and cold temperature:

It was not that bad, if it would be less snow I could probably go over 40 miles:

On my ride back I have passed group of deer (mob? herd? Santa?). They did not even move, and I have decided to go back and snap a picture. I turned around, quickly put the bike on the ground, took off my gloves, and reached for the phone. All deers gone, but one. I took a picture, but it kept starring at me! If it will continue to treat the human beings the same way, it will end up soon at a warm room. On somebodies holiday table:

Back at home, I washed my bike, and let it dry by the fireplace, while I was warming my toes:
