Tube Size

is there any difference between a tube that is marked 700c and one that says 27"??

They are not interchangeable.

Oh, come on now. 700 C rim size is 622 mm and 27" is 630 mm. I run 700 C TUBES on both sizes with no problems.

Now the tires are not interchangable.

And some 700c tubes say 28" on them. I bought a 700c Salsa tube that was simply too big and had a fold in it when inserted into the tire. Not good. If they fit in the tire smoothly with one bead in the rim, they're the right size.
