Do You Have Pedals For All Your Bikes...
My first ride of the season trashed my Frankenclimbingbike and I have yet to break it down and totally clean it up...
I have two sets of Look Keo CroMo pedals for my three road bikes...
In order to do a Spinervals I needed to clean the pedals up and move them to my LeMond...Not a hard job but a job...
So I got an email that the CroMos were in stock at PBK and ordered a third pair...
Do you have pedals for each of your bikes and if you do are they all the same quality...

3 bikes, but 3 different bikes (road, cross, mountain)... so different pedals for each.
Building a fourth bike (fixie), so it will have it's own pedals as well.

Yes, pedals for ALL my bikes,...and then some!!
Only 2 have SPD's and the rest have toe clips/straps or nothing.
Different bikes, different needs. And plenty of extras.
My 2 favorites are purple Ringles and a pair of titanium Super Record.
The former with nothing and the latter with clips/straps.

I'd assume most people would have pedals on all of their bikes..
I've got a pair of cheap Looks on both of my road bikes. I don't bother to swap em out when commuting, I just ride with tennis shoes on the Looks. Not the comfiest, but it works.

Two sets of Ultegra SL's that I swap around, one set of 105 SL's in black for my gold/black bike, a set of '70 campy record clips with the TdF, and an original superbe clip set for the Trek, so a couple remain pedalless at any time.

I have Eggbeaters for 4 bikes, Quattros for one, Mallets for one, and one bike that needs cranks before pedals become much of a concern.

it looks like you rode through a foam party.
I have pedals for all my bikes, none of them are compatible (besides all being 9/16"), and I choose them specifically for each bike.

I'm swapping one set of Ultegra SPD-SLs between two bikes at the moment. I'm going to get a set of platforms for the backup bike once I start converting it to a grocery getter.

Each bike has its own pedals. I suppose if there was a dedicated winter bike and a dedicated summer bike, I would be fine with only swapping pedals twice a year, but a weekly basis would be a burden to me.

I swap pedals on a couple of bikes all the time. It's easy. I just bought the biggest, longest, heaviest, pedal tool available to make it really simple.

I kinda played around with the pedal thing before I got it right:
Look Keo Carbon on both my TT and RR machines.
Crank Bros. Egg Beaters on my Commuter / CX machine.
I love the tensioning and platform on the Look's, as well as the different cleats for float (I go with grey). And the recessed cleat on my commuters is perfect (I'm the dork in the grocery store with his spandex on. I do take off my helmet and put it in the basket though).

Ride it like you stole it
Yes, even 2 sets on the Tandem! All Shimano SPD-SL (various flavors), that way I only need to buy one kind of cleats for all three of us here

Throw the stick!!!!
I was swapping out pedals on my road bikes up until a couple of weeks ago when I finally broke down and ordered a second set of Speedplay zero's. On both of my mountain bikes and my cross bike I have eggbeaters. The race bike has titanium spindles on the eggbeaters though.

Five bikes and maybe 6 sets of pedals. The top two bikes both have D/A SPD-SLs. I ordered the 105 version from Probikekit for another bike so I would have compatibility with shoes. They were very cheap - roughly $25 USD. I also have Performance inhouse clones of Looks for my FG and beater/trainer. If you look around, you can eventually find good deals. Switching pedals isn't the easist think to do at times.
