Bib recommendations for tall & skinny rider

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bib recommendations for tall & skinny rider

Hello all,

Can anyone recommend bib knicks that fit a tall & skinny rider well? My last couple of pairs have been sized 'L' to get the fit around the legs/waist about right.

The problem is, due to the tightness of the straps (being tall) and/or the looseness around the waist (being skinny), they tend to bunch up around the front, and the chamois slides forwards. I tend to end up sitting on the very back of the chamois, which after a while can get irritating as I'm sitting on the seam.

So, any tall/skinny riders out there that have found bibs to their satisfaction? Are there any manufacturers that offer sizing in both directions - i.e. length and waist, instead of just S/M/L/XL? Thoughts?

Edit: Oh yeah, to define "tall & skinny", I'm about 192cm (~6'4") and 70kg (~155 lbs)

These are designed for the lanky guys. I bought a size medium and couldn't get my legs into them. Had to get the larges so they would fit around my quads, but the shoulder straps are almost baggy on my now. I'm 5'9.5" 165.

Thanks. I'll try and find a local shop that stocks Descente stuff and try some on.

+1 on the Descente bibs, they have the longest straps of any bibs I've tried that normally fit.
