I saw a guy riding a Fezzari

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

At the risk of looking like an idiot (like that's never happened here before), what is it about riding a Fezzari that makes one a tool?

I'll buy an ADK frame with matching fork on Ebay for $600, slap some of my own custom Fuzzy-Arri decals on it, then sell it to you for $1.00 less than the Fezzari brand. You'll be gettin' a great deal.

Any takers?

Excuse me for being a dumb a** but is a fezzari a crap ride ? Is it a Kinesis frame with garden variety hoops and a 105ish gruppo? Much like most of the elites that are bagging on this guy are riding.

The joke is that if you're looking for a no-name bike (and no, I'm not one of the elitists who bash them), you can find a much better deal at BikesDirect. That, and a lot of people think the Fezzari name is cheesy.

How do you know how much they guy paid? Fezzari is a cheesy name, but so is Pedal Force(I own one of those). The only tool here is the OP .

First of all, it's just a joke, so lighten up. Second, Fezzaris are pretty new, so chances are anyone who owns one bought it for the price listed on the website. But hey, they are having an "enter to win" contest, so maybe it could have been free.

I agree that most bike names are cheesy. The contest for the cheesiest bike name in the world would be a close one, that's for sure. Honestly, I don't have a problem with the Fezzari name, but a lot of people here like to make fun of it. I actually like the Pedal Force name. They just need better graphics. Do they even sell them with graphics anymore?

It's actually kinda funny. I work in braking and I hear people talk about Pedal Force all the time. Of course, it conjures images of my bike before it conjures images of a brake pedal...

Independant Fab,
Gary Fisher,
Fazzari,
SCATtantte,
Mongoose,
Tirrenza,
Specialized,

^ All cheese-ball names. That's the only thing in common - some are good, some are bad. Who gives a poop if some dude was riding a Fazzari? He's probably not a Cat1 racer anyway, so what's the difference?

Costco sells Fezzaris. Ride it as hard as you want and return it when/if it breaks.

It's about the rider not the ride..... Ooops I'm in the roadie forum
