Started my corporate team for MS Ride

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Started my corporate team for MS Ride

Hello All -

I got corporate permission to form Team AMD for the upcoming Multiple Sclerosis ride in Purcellville, VA. The "real" riders on the team will be doing the Sat 60/Sun 40 option as an early season century. The casual riders are going to do the 30 on Sat and maybe the 40 on Sunday if they're up to it.

Being so late (just set up the team today) we're running behind on donations for MS. Each rider is required to donate $300.

Am I allowed to "advertise" the donation page for good souls on the forum who'd like to donate a buck or five?

Thanks,
Andy

Andy,
You're a glutton for punishement. The most painful thing I ever did on a bike was ride an MS 150 with a corporate group.

And as for soliciting donations, put a web link in your signature when you post. Not sure that exactly complies with BF rules, but others have done it.

Also buying a red star wouldn't hurt.
