Can I damage a hub by riding on bad roads?
So i have a race coming up (Copperopolis) that is notorious for having horrible roads. I plan on riding a 32h open pro on the front and my 32h DTswissR1.1 laced to a powertap on the back.
I'm prepared to deal with truing my wheels, and maybe even dinging a rim, but I don't want to ruin my PT hub. Is it safe?
Thanks,
b.

is there a warranty on it still?
...just a thought, the pros probably ride similar hubs in the spring classics and they seem to survive. but they don't have to pay to replace them. i would probably err on the side of caution but thats your call.
