Canari jersey sizes

Does anyone know how Canari jerseys fit? Normally I wear Pearl Izumi size medium jersey(38-39 inch chest). Canari specs their med jerseys with a 40-42 inch chest. Do they run true to size or a bit small? I'm 6'2" and about 160 pounds, I find it hard to believe that I'm a size small.

Does anyone here own a PI size medium jersey, and a medium Canari jersey?

Measure a good fitting PI jersey from pit to pit and post or PM the measurement. I'll check a couple Canaris to compare.

Grumpy Pig, you're so smart.

All my PI size medium jerseys measure 20 inches across pit-pit, or a 40 inch chest.

Thanks - Ski

US-sized jerseys often will not fit tall skinny people, unless you like your belly button showing. If in doubt, buy from a shop where you can try them on first.

I thought Pearl Izumi was US-sized. Am I wrong again?

The jersey expert said that P-P measurements on Canaris are generally M-22", L-23", XL-24".

The only M she has on hand is a silk screened model. She said that that particular model seemed to run small. I measured it and it is 21 3/16".

Length on that jersey is front from top of zipper to bottom of hem - 23 1/4". Back from top of collar to bottom of hem is 30 1/8".

The Canari's run a bit wide and short relative to the PI's.

I lost an auction for a Canari medium jersey on ebay, but I had the seller measure it, and it was 20" pit to pit and 27" in length measured from the top of the collar in the rear to the bottom hem.

Was it a Stone Brewery jersey, by any chance?

I think they run big, I wear a L Canari, but XL or even XXL in some euro sized jerseys.

Boston College just lost the NCAA hockey championship game(2nd year in a row), and I may have to cancel an order on a great(deal) jersey .

2nd place place sucks!!! I'd rather be just an "also ran" .

I have 1 small Canari jersey. They seem to fit me similar to my small PI jersey.
