Must...have...KOM Atmos!
Just found out that I can get my hands on the King of the Mountains Special edition Atmos at my shop. How I long to be the polka-dot freak on a bicycle.

I would love to have the full KOM kit. Anyone rocking this?

No, but if I felt like spending all of my money on a helmet, I'd get the one on display at my LBS. You're not thinking of dressing in full KOM kit in Toronto, are you?

Save the KOM kit for a trip out to the Rockies.

I would never buy it because I don't need multiple helmets and would NEVER roll up to the start of a race with that on my head.
That being said, if you like it and you feel like attacking the climbs when you wear it, go for it. We'll all get over our silly hang-ups just fine.

Can you come close to backing that helmet up?
Just may make you a marked man on group rides. I know if I saw a guy wearing one on a climb, I'd be all over him like white on rice on a paper plate in a snowstorm at a KKK bar-b-que.

You forgot that the rice goes in a glass of milk, THEN on the paper plate.

Probably not.

But I'm only half disco, and they were a gift. It'd be a shame to not wear them. They really are nice bibs.

I think a pair of bike nutz -- especially in KOM colors -- would intimidate people like Cypress. Not.

One of many sentences on BF that should never have an excuse to exist.

You mean like neuticles? My folks may get a pair for their dog. He's feeling "incomplete" after the surgery.

If I saw someone wearing that helmet, the first thing going through my head would be "I must drop you"
Seriously though, I wouldn't buy that helmet or race with it, but if I got one for free I'd wear it for my hard hill repeat workouts.
