To all the Brooks saddle fans I'm sure that they are good saddles but I really don't think they will suit the Original Poster at the moment because they are hard, slippery saddles and the OP is having issues with the hardness of his saddle at the moment.

Ok I love brooks also but I am going to recommend and old school saddle.. Selle San Marco Rolls.. Pretty much the stock and trade of the peloton for many years.. Very nice and comfortable saddle..

I've had great luck with the Brooks B-17 and Fizik Aliante. If you search the forums here, you'll see lot's of folks agree.

NO Anthony is just very uncomfortable before some 10 miles after that till the end is just fine,I feel the pain on my bones and goes down my legs, but after a while as I said is gone,I just don't like it because does not allow me sometimes to ride faster at the beginning of my trips.

Unlike ridethecliche who is getting saddle sores on the soft tissue of the scrotum.
It took a while for me to sort this out as well but what I find works is to lift the boys up and forward in your knicks. Yes they're probably a little more on display but it beats saddle sores. Also try tilting your saddle nose down just a fraction.

You could try one of these, https://cgi.ebay.com.au/BRAND-NEW-96-...QQcmdZViewItem
I had one of these Fizik gel saddles and they will deffinitely address your problem with saddle hardness although I didn't personaly like them for long rides I've spoken to other experienced riders who used them for long rides and loved it.
As another poster already suggested you could try an old school saddle such as a San Marco Rolls saddle, https://cgi.ebay.com.au/San-Marco-Rol...QQcmdZViewItem
These are supprisingly comfortable saddles.

The only saddle that was more painful than a B-17 (for me) was a Fizik Arione. Now THAT is an ass-hatchet.
The Brooks just never broke in. 500 miles and was still like a plank of wood. Unforgiving, heavy and hard. I've been using a Specialized Toupe and my behind is in heaven. I just never even think about it.

Another thought for the OP - if you want to try some saddles, give eBay a shot and grab some used, but good condition saddles. You can find some very good deals on there.
One saddle I'd like to mention is the Selle San Marco SKN. I've got one of these on my single-speed and it's amazingly comfortable. I picked up the Chro-mo version on eBay for $22 brand new. The Ti version can be had for under $40.
Just a thought, and again, YMMV.

Another thought - your LBS may let you try out a saddle for a while before you're stuck with it. I've got 30 days to make up my mind on my new Arione. If it doesn't sit right with me (sorry), and it's not scuffed up, I can bring it back and move on to something else.

Brooks? NOT!
I've got 5300 miles on 2 different Brooks saddles. A Pro and a B-17 Champ. special. So I think I've given Brooks a fair shake. Every adjustment imaginable. For & aft, nose up nose down in mm increments. Nothing works. I'm done with them! The most uncomfortable saddle I've ever used. Numb, sore, heavy, not good in the rain. Had enough. Have a 150 miler coming up and am switching to a Specialized. Anything has to be better than a Brooks IMO.

Richard...try a Fizik Aliante (get the Sport, for starters, to see if you like the shape). I rode a Brooks Team Pro all last year (~4,000 miles) and wanted to try something else...the Specialized Toupe never worked for me, but I did a 55 miler on an Aliante Sport with absolutely no pain at all. Just an opinion.

Well I brought my bike today to my LBS and they saw my saddle and told me "you don't have to buy any other saddle this one is on the wrong position !!!!" so it was to low from behind and I was basically just seating on my back bones "only" and you have to be seated like in a 3 point position with your front, anyways I have to try it for some 50 miles to see what happens but they told me that I should not have more problems..... I hope so ..

Sounds like you've had some bad experiences with Brooks. It was just the opposite with me. I rode several thousand miles on a Selle Italia 'Turbomatic 3', and although a good saddle, it killed me on rides longer than 20 miles. Three years ago I bought a Brooks 'Professional' and it effectively ended my saddle issues. Now I can go on 40-50 mile rides with no pain and much comfort. Easily the most comfortable saddle I've ever owned. I'll never ride nothing else for these old bones.

After they "place" my saddle on the right position on my LBS I went for a ride today I did some 40 miles not only did not feel any pain but I increased my average speed to 19.8 mph from 19.5 mph so from now on my training should be better and my average speed should increase.. I want to do 23-25 mph for 50 miles that is my goal this summer.. but back to the saddle the problem was that was to tilted to the back and was KILLING ME !!!
