Went out and rode one today... what a sweet ride!
And at its current sale price of $750, it's almost impossible to pass up.
And -I'm sorry to say- I like the livery. The color reminds me of my old Gitane

I've got more bikes than I can handle but I'm still jealous.
Congrats and enjoy!
ooops, just realized you haven't bought it yet, maybe I'm psychic.

OK, the update: it's a done deal. I put my plastic down on it today and I can pick it up anytime after Sunday. As I work in San Francisco and the LBS is in Palo Alto, getting it during the week could be tough but Palo Alto is a cyclist's wet dream. If I pick it up an Saturday, I can break it in before I even have to throw it on my car and bring it home. I'm way excited.

Oh no, no, no... I ABSOLUTELY rode it beforehand. Put 5+ miles on it in a number of road conditions. Up hill, down hill, in the flats.... Ran through every gear it had and stopped a lot. The shop is having its annual sale and isn't rolling anything out until after it ends on Sunday. Then they have to install the computer and pedals and adjust everything up. I can pick it up Monday (or after) but Saturday just works better overall. I don't buy guitars without playing them first and I don't buy bikes with out riding 'em

Congrats! That's what I ride, and I love it. So is yours the silver/black '06 or the drop dead gorgeous midnight blue/black '07? (Can you guess which mine is? )
