Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If you want a comfy saddle upgrade, you could try the Terry Fly Ti.

I had a Fuji Newest 2.0 last year - loved it, till it got run over by a truck...A long story involving me lending out the bike, and an out of control motorist. I'm now looking at getting a Fuji Team, and have a Fuji Track I picked up used...damn bikes are expensive...

If anyone wants to see what a fully loaded ford expedition does to an aluminium roadbike...

Looks like a JRA (just riding along) story. Surely it will be warranteed.

Hope the person you loaned it out to is alright.

To the OP. Very nice bike, hope she brings you thousands of miles of smiles.

So many OCP violations. Picture must be taken at high-noon to avoid shadow, adjustable stem? oh how you disapoint me. Nice bike, like the curved seat-stays; suppose to deflect road vibrations.

At least it isn't carbon, so it should be easy to weld back together

if it were steel, you could have just bent it back!

Nice bike.

To add to the picture taking hints. Notice how the panels of your garage door curve at the top and bottom of your photograph. This is called barrel distortion and is typical in most wide range zoom lenses to some degree. In this case it is extreme. To solve this just remember to step back a little, maybe 5-10 feet and then zoom in just a bit to reframe the picture. This will eliminate the barrel distortion. If you zoom all the way in those straight lines will curve inward, that is known as pin cushion distortion. Usually the middle of the zoom range there is little or no distortion even on the most inexpensive digital cameras.

Example:
Attachment 42717

Now go have fun riding.

The mate I lent it out to was fine, thankfully. He's one of those silly mountain biking types, he saw the car about to crush him, and jumped off into the ditch. The bike was fully covered by insurance, and is feeding the fund for my new Fuji Team that I'm ordering next week

He, of course, was "just riding along" - shame the car decided not to do the same

I'm not sure. I thought I should hide the left crank behind the seatpost.

My garage door looks like that to my naked eye. Either I have bad eyes or a bad contractor.
