Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

back on topic...I lust after an R3 as well......we'll see what's new in about 3-4 years since I just picked up a Tarmac.

is that yours?

The last I heard the tip of the saddle has to be at least 5cm behind the bottom bracket to
be UCI legal.

no, mine fits me. that saddle setback is bizzarre. He has a long stem for that racing "look", but then needs a non-setback seatpost jammed forward like a TT bike.

neither have I

this is the closest I've got to seeing a 'real' one; in fact, it's the only one I've seen that isn't a studio pic

i like them but I can't say I'm a fan of the seat tube/ seatpost area on the soloists....I know it's "aero" and everything...but it just looks fat to me...

if i got one it would be the R3
