Cervelo's are sexy!
I was never a fan of the look of Cervelos until I saw a few in my LBS. Man in person they are some great looking bikes. I couldn't believe the difference seeing it in person rather than in pictures. I didn't realize the shap of the tubing, pretty cool looking....

People are welcome to ogle and caress Vivian (my Cervelo R3) all they want. Here's a simulated picture of her with her aero wheelset (Spinergy Stealth PBO). I have destickered the wheels, but haven't gotten around to taking any pictures that way, so I'm using 1955's generously provided Photoshop simulation of removing the decals.
Here she is with her climbing wheelset (Rolf Prima Elan Aero), courtesy of chimivee.
Here she is with her rainy day wheelset (Easton Circuit), courtesy of chimivee.

I like the ride as good as the look of the R3, I only have about 500 miles on it since I built it up and just got my Fulcrum Zero's on it 2 nights ago with one ride. This Combo is a pretty amazing look. Now I worry about where I leave the thing and on my past bikes I did not have that to worry about so much, time to get the insurance added just for this thing.
Honestly though, the frame is everything I could ever hope for in a great ride.

I couldn't agree more. I absolutely love the thought that goes into their design. One day a Cervelo will be mine!

Hey jshen.
Please don't take offense, but that bike is way too nice looking to have that contraption of a pump strapped to it.
Get yourself a CarbOne or a Topeak micro Rocket.
I don't care if it takes 1000 strokes to get to 100psi, the aesthetics are worth it.

I turn my back for one second, and when I look back, some little kid has both hands on the top-tube and is lifting it and slamming it down again and again chanting "light bike, light bike".
His dad's just watching, doing nothing, and he doesn't react until he sees me coming over, and then he offers something ineffectual like: "Don't touch other people's bikes..." which the kid ignores.
I had to walk over, put my hands on the saddle and bars to stop him from bouncing it, lean down and say: "You shouldn't be rough with things that don't belong to you. Okay?"
The kid is happy, he doesn't care, he runs off towards the expensive helmets.
The dad goes: "That's a really nice bike. Can I lift it?" I kind of look at him increduously. "Sure." He does. "Nice... how much does something like that cost?" I don't miss a beat. "More than you're prepared to spend here today. And I doubt you want to drop a hundred and seventy five bucks on a helmet, either, so I'd direct your attention over there, if I were you." (his kid has wrestled an Atmos out of it's box by this point, and is, I kid you not, trying to peel the stickers off) The dad runs off to deal with that situation...
I never want kids...

A "wow", or a pat on the back, at the least?
