First of all a little correction or rather specification: tested have been framesets, so the total score refers to the combination of frame, fork and headset.
The score is the weighted combination of the test factors. Grades being 1.0 (very good) through 5.0 (insufficient). Legend: Model | overall score | material | weight of frame & fork (25%) | riding stability (25%) | lateral fork stiffness (15%) | power transmission (15%) | comfort of the frame (7.5%) | comfort of the fork (7.5%) | paint (5%) | finish (5%) | manual (2.5%) | warranty (2.5%) Results (sorted according to the overall score, STW will decide upon ties): 1. There are over 10,000 readers on this forum.
If each one of them, pulled out of his a$% rankings like those made by the original poster, we'd never see the end of it. But thanks for your 2 cents. |
No Motobecane = invalid test.

Darn, looks like I have to sell my Fuji now. :(
Oh yeah, I still believe my Fuji is one of the nicest bikes produced, still gotta sell it though. The test says it sucks. :( |

I'd like to learn more about the (fake) "power transmission" rating. If you know someone with an SRM and a PowerTap, then I'd be really interested in seeing any data to come out of that testing... anything else is just BS.

You think I went out of my way to personally rate 40+ bicycle frames? I mean come on, no. The reviews and tests were done by TOUR magazine, a much more reputable source of information than your local bicycling. This has been translated from german. Article is from their April issue if you would like to order one. More on tour magazine here. http://translate.google.com/translat...%3Den%26sa%3DG |

How is it that the owner's manual is as important as the warranty?

Shortly after that I built it up and took my first ride on it. I was shocked and that is an understatement. I had always thought of them as second rate bikes, well not any more. Now that I have spent some time on it I would put this frameset up against any frameset. I am convinced that they are as nice as any other frame out there, at least for a rider of my ability. |

You are such a dumbass. You had a Fuji League........the lowest bike they sell. The fork dropout cracked and it had crappy components. So now you hate all Fujis, especially the top of the line one?
