What size waist are you

Notices
Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

What size waist are you

To go with the how many pounds overweight are you thread, I was wondering what everyone's jean size is.

I am 155lbs 5-10, and can fit into a size 28 inch waist, although 30 feels a tad better.

I hope this is for somesort of school research project otherwise we're wasting our time. But I'm 6' tall and weigh 165 with a 33" waist...I could go into a 32 but it's not as comfortable as I like to be.

Pants size isn't a good indicator of waist size is it? Don't they pad those things by an inch or two to help us feel better about ourselves. There are some 32 pants I can get into but I'm no smaller than 34-35.

5'10, 172lbs and a 26-28" waist. 26" = relaxed fit and 28" for a loose fit.

I consider myself a size 29, though most of my pants are 30's (easier to find) and a few are 28's.

No they're not, especially jeans. Jeans stretch a pretty fair amount, in addition to the vanity sizing. I'm a 28 or 29 in most store bought pants or jeans, and a 30 in all my dress pants.

Well, since everybody is talking about pants size, I'm a 32.

I have a natural waist of just under 28in. I wear my jeans a lot closer to my hips, so 30's fit.

I am 157lbs 5-11, and can fit into a size 28 inch waist, although 30's with a belt feels better.

36" waist, 6'2, 212#. Wide shoulders and hips, great for drafting behind.

Not tiny.

5'-9" 158# 30's work well. Don't like to feel squeezed. Two years ago I was at 190 and 34's.

5'8", 205lbs, 36" Waist, 48" Chest. I will add that I'm 55, pushing 56. I mention this because I think that the older we get, the more we tend to thicken up.

At least that's my excuse.
