Mavic Kysrium SSC SL's or Reynolds Solitudes?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm looking at both these wheelsets... they seem to be pretty damn close weight-wise, and the Solitudes are a LOT cheaper... anybody have an opinion?

I own both an SSC SL and Reynolds Alta Race wheelset. Both are good wheelsets and the differences are subtle at best.
The Alta Race is the same as the Solitude, but is silver in color instead of black.
The SSC SLs are noticably stiffer than the Alta Race's, and acceleration is better. But I think the Alta Race wheelset is more aero. I use the SSC SLs in the hills because they climb better, and the Alta Race wheels in the flats for more aero advantage.

No experience whatsoever with the Alta's. But, I can tell say that I've ridden two different sets of the SSL's since 2001 with many thousands of miles and they are truly rock solid. I have yet to have them true'd ... and I ride over 4 to 6 RR tracks on each of my rides!
