SCOTT BIKE PICS! post em' here

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Used for just under $8k? I'm sorry, but that's just plain rediculous.

2006 Scott CR1 SL

The LBS wouldn't remove the spacers. Didn't want to flip the stem, but I insisted. Three times before they relented. My old bike's seat is at least four inches above my handlebars! WTF is it with the LBS's?! I know I'm no spring chicken, but still, they should listen to and respect my preferences over their overly-cautious protocols.

I'll be taking out at least one and probably all the spacers when I find time. My arms are long, and I just can't get really "aero" yet on this bike, as evidenced by recent TT pics. I'll have aerobars on it next time I do a TT, but I definitely want to be as horizontal as possible....

Older pic, I now have a CR1 fork, different cages, better saddle, and gonna buy some Fulcrum 5's next week.

Edit : It's clean now as well.

EURO-TRASH: i'm usually not the guy to say this, bc i love my shimano bike as well as my campy, but you need campy on that thing for the simple matter that you could have carbon EVERYWHERE!

I know what your saying that **** is calling my name... i bought this thang used from Raffa Serrano who is on the Saunier Duval Prodir amatuer team. its was one of his training bikes, he was a mutual friend who i met this winter during my race season(alpine skiing) in europe. but either the campy record carbon or the SRAM is calling this bikes name. i kinda spent a lot of dough on the bike though so i dont really need to upgrade it. right now haha

Scott's have to be the sickest bikes on the road today. Hence why I have two.
All finished Speedster S50 all yellow-ed out.

Just took delivery of my new CR1 Team yesterday. Still waiting fro my white fizik bar tape and carbon cages for her to be complete.

Hey Jimbo, what wheels you got on the S50? The big SCOTT on the downtube makes it look like a million bucks - even though it has sora on it. Nice ride...

They're the same wheels as the cr1. Those are Mavic Kysyrium's Elites painted flat black. The cr1 elite's are the same wheels painted red, fulcrum eschew. Yep, full sora-ace too. Thanks for the compliment!

Jimbo- the red cr1 is pure sex but the big brid edition s50 needs a nose/rear end job, white bar tape and saddle

Euro-Trash- you need a schmolke carbon bar to round out the uber and complinent the lightweights/ax lightness bits

These Scott bikes and their ilk do not turn me on. I know this thread is for those who appreciate - but I am benefited with a reinforced love of non-compact framed bikes and titanium, the top of which is my Litespeed. I will show some respect by not posting a pic.

on bf, you can guarantee any post on opinions (well, any post at all), will bring the azzholes out of their lairs.

i don't have a scott. however, i do like scotts. sharp bikes...espcially the cr1 pro. i don't have an opinion on their ilk since i don't know any of their ilk.

i just HAD to post here.
